Lake Buckhorn

Lindley's daddy, Pa and their friends have been working hard at Mimi and Pa's lot at Lake Buckhorn. They had to clear away all the trees and prepare it for their cabin that will begin construction this week. We were down over the weeked and took the guys some hot dogs and other treats. Lindley had a great time. She loved watching them work and she really wanted to eat sticks. Here are some pictures of the hard work that went on! I will continue to update the blog as the cabin goes up.

The many faces of Lindey!

Lindley gives us a lot of Smiles...but she also has some of the funniest faces. I have been trying to capture them. We never quite know what she is thinking? I have no doubt however that when she learns to talk she will tell us:)

Lindley is still pretty wobbly on her feet, but she can balance herself while hanging on to a toy or furniture. She wants so badly to crawl...it could be anytime! Here are some pictures of her standing!

100% GIRL

Lately when Lindley and I are out we get comments like, "Oh isn't HE sweet". I decided it was time to do something! Lindley does not have enough hair for bows( probably why she is mistaken for a boy)...so a headband was the next best thing! I took a few pictures with her wearing it yesterday. It is cute on her...and everyone now knows she is a GIRL!!! Maybe now we can wear blue outfits again:)

Four teeth!!!

Lindley now has both of her bottom and both of her top teeth! If you look close you can see the bottom two in this picture!!! Cheerios here we come:)

Jared's sister Amanda came to visit us from Boston, MA last weekend. We had a really nice visit with her. We had a nice dinner with the grandparents Sunday night and I took a few pictures. Lindley was happiest outside with the guys! I have a feeling we will spending A lot of time outside real soon!!!

I put Lindley in one of her cousin Anna's little outfits yesterday and remembered that Brittney had blogged pictures of Anna in this outfit when she was close to Lindley's age. I thought it would be neat to blog Lindley's pictures next to Anna's. The first picture of Anna, also includes her good buddy Landon. How cute are they!!

Sitting up well!

Lindley is getting bigger everyday! She is sitting up better everyday. Jared and I are sure she is going to crawl Anyday! I snapped a few uneventful but cute pictures this morning...I thought I would share. Nana this is more of that everyday stuff you like so much!! xoxox

Cousin Ella

Lindley and I got to spend a little time with her new baby cousin Ella. Ella is Jared's cousin Dana's baby. She is 1 month old. We went to Jo Ann Fabrics to pick out fabric for a sling for Dana. I almost forgot to take a picture...but remembered just in time to capture the beauty of the parking lot! We hope they will be good buddies.

Lindley woke up and Anna greeted her with a very sweet conversation. It was in cousin language, of course! so only they understood what they were saying. Anna is so sweet with her:) What a pair:)

Jackie's bachlorette party!!

The girls planned a fun night for Jackie in Cincinnati Saturday night after the shower. We went to dinner in Mount Adams. They spent the night downtown...but I went home to Miss Lindley. Here are the pictures I took. I had fun being with the girls...like ol' times. I am sure the rest of the night was a blast!! Hope you enjoyed yourself Jack. See you in Naples!!!:)
